Stefanos Damianakis is president and CEO of Netrics, as well as a prominent technology thought-leader in intelligent data matching technologies. Stef brings nearly 20 years of experience in scientific research and business management to Netrics, leveraging his unique skills in technology transfer to lead the overall strategic direction of the company and guide the ongoing development of the Netrics product line. Prior to joining Netrics, Stef worked at prestigious research institutions, including the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, NEC Research Institute, Panasonic Research Labs and Princeton University. Stef holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Computer Science from Princeton University and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from McGill University. Dave Ireland Vice President, Sales
Dave is a 30-year veteran of sales, marketing and operations management in technology companies. He joined York Telecom Corporation in 1998 as VP of Sales and Marketing, and was subsequently appointed President of Initia, a York Telecom Product Subsidiary. Prior to York, he was the COO of Commvault Systems, where he was a key member of the management team responsible for the management buy-out of the company from AT&T. He has also held senior sales and marketing management positions with Tre-Tempo, Kodak, Syntrex and Interdata. Patrick Austermann Vice President, Engineering Patrick Austermann brings substantial implementation and technical experience to Netrics. Prior to joining Netrics, Patrick worked for BOSCH, Bertelsmann and Time Warner companies in various management and technical leadership roles. Patrick Austermann is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Diplom-Informatiker (equivalent to a Master's Degree in Computer Science) from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany and is also an Ingénieur en Informatique et Mathématiques Appliquées, E.N.S.I.M.A.G. (Grande Ecole), and holds a D.E.A. (Diplome des Etudes Approfondies) from the I.M.A.G. in Grenoble, France.
Peter Yianilos Chairman
Peter Yianilos is widely acknowledged as a pioneer in the field of automated spelling and grammar correction. His first business venture, Proximity Technology, founded in 1979, developed spelling and grammar correction technology that was eventually licensed to over 200 companies worldwide. This technology soon became an inherent and indispensable part of the word processing revolution. Though the company was little known to the public, the user base for its software exceeded that for all the major software companies at the time. Yianilos merged Proximity with Franklin Electronic Publishers (NYSE "FEP"), where he served as the company's President and Chief Technology Officer. Under Yianilos' direction, Franklin launched a successful line of consumer products, including hand-held spelling checkers, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a bible-products that ushered in the modern age of electronic publishing. Yianilos is a true visionary with a strong track record for making technology work for everyone.
Mr. Yianilos is the author of numerous scholarly publications and patents in areas that include algorithms and data structures, synthetic and artificial intelligence, information retrieval and digital libraries, data compression, and computational biology. Mr. Yianilos received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University, and also holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Emory University where he studied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics.

Sandor Straus Director
Sandor Straus is the Managing Director of Merfin, LLC, a commodity trading advisor based in Walnut Creek, California. He was a Partner in Renaissance Technology Corp. and was involved in financial modeling and investing with RTC and its predecessor companies from 1980-1996. He managed the Medallion Fund from inception until 1996. Mr. Straus taught computer science at the Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg in Germany and mathematics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Straus received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California Berkeley, and his BA and MA from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the President of the Firedoll Foundation, a private family foundation. Mr. Straus is also Board Treasurer of the Marine Mammal Center, Board Vice Chair of Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center and a board member of the Mathematical Sciences Research Center.
He also serves as Vice Chair of the Koshland Committee of the San Francisco Foundation.
Leonard E. Baum Director
Leonard Baum is an officer of three investment firms: he has served as President of Curfin International Ltd. since 1980, as President of Rieton Corporation since 1993, and as Vice President and Director of Lebam Advisers, Inc. since 1979. Mr. Baum has also been a Director of Segue Software Inc. since 1995. In addition, Mr. Baum has been a securities and commodities trader for Zeta partners and a trustee of Lebam Advisers Pension Plan and Trust since 1993.
Mr. Baum is an author of numerous technical papers, and a member of the cryptographic hall of fame. He holds a Ph.D. and a B.A. in Mathematics from Harvard University.
Eric B. Baum Director
Eric Baum has been President of Lebam Advisors, Inc. since 1979 and a Senior Research Scientist at the NEC Research Institute Computer Science Division since 1990. Mr. Baum is author of numerous technical papers in computational learning theory, neural networks, DNA computing, algorithms, Bayesian reasoning, and theoretical physics and holds a number of patents. Mr. Baum holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Physics from Princeton University, and a BA from Harvard University.
