Version 4.0 Improves Accuracy and Embed-ability Netrics Matching Platform 4.0 further enhances the company’s real-time matching technology that makes imperfect data perfectly usable. Included in the release is a web-based interface, designed for developers and data analysts, that enables interactive development of match requests. Version 4.0 also establishes the infrastructure necessary for Netrics’ accelerated product roadmap. Accuracy 4.0 now includes similarity-scoring based on information theory. This allows more accurate measurement of similarity in demanding applications, by comparing the difference in information content between the fields and records being matched. Embed-ability The Netrics Matching Platform runs on virtually every OS and processor on the planet, including both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows, Linux, Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, HP VMS, HP Nonstop, and more. It has always been designed to deploy easily, to leverage your existing investment in databases and application technology. With Version 4.0, easily becomes easier: - The Netrics Loader/Syncher now connects directly to your existing Oracle and SQL Server databases . It automatically loads a data extract, and incrementally maintains synchronization with the base data as new transactions are processed. This offloads matching requests from the main database, where they chew up resources, and puts them into the Netrics Matching Platform, which is optimized for matching and is highly scalable. Difficult matching problems that used to require batch processing can often be solved more accurately, in real time, with less overall computing resources.
- A comprehensive, native Web Services (SOAP) interface makes it easier for all of your SOA-enabled applications to take advantage of the Netrics Matching Platform. Native .NET, Java, C/C++, and Python interfaces increase integration options while enhancing throughput and scalability.
Web Interface The Netrics Control Console provides developers and data analysts a web-based interface to many of the critical features of the Netrics Matching Platform. Users can install the console, and run live matching requests on real data within minutes. Supported functions include: - Load data into the Netrics Matching Platform. Data connections can be established from existing Oracle and SQLServer tables, or loaded from static files (such as .CSV). MySQL and DB2 connectors are coming soon.
- Run matching requests and view results. The full range of simple-to-sophisticated matching requests within the Netrics Matching Engine are supported. Analysts can interact with the results, and modify field selection and other variables.
- Automatically generate program code for integration. Developers can transform matching requests developed interactively using the web interface, into Python code that can be directly integrated into production applications.
