PRINCETON, NJ, November 30, 2007 - Netrics, a leading innovator and provider of intelligent database record matching software, today announced the hiring of Patrick Austermann as Vice President of Engineering for the Princeton-based firm.
"Patrick Austermann brings substantial implementation and technical experience to Netrics," said president and CEO, Stefanos Damianakis. "He is responsible for customer and partner integrations and also drives next generation product development within Netrics." Prior to joining Netrics, Mr. Austermann was the Information Security Officer at Bookspan (a Bertelsmann/Time Warner partnership) responsible for IT infrastructure. His previous roles also include: Manager of International IT projects for BOL.com (Bertelsmann Online) and Project Manager for Bosch Telecom. Austermann is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Diplom-Informatiker (equivalent to a Master's Degree in Computer Science) from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany and is also an Ingénieur en Informatique et Mathématiques Appliquées, E.N.S.I.M.A.G. (Grande Ecole), and holds a D.E.A. (Diplome des Etudes Approfondies) from the I.M.A.G. in Grenoble, France.
